Underwriters Laboratories Inc. – UL acknowledges Instramed ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 13485:2003 certification.

The ISO 9001:2000 is an international norm used by advanced company to control their management systems quality during all the product development process, from Project to service.

And ISO 13485:2003 is a specific norm for the health equipment segment. It makes it possible for corporations to implement a quality management system that focuses on the development, manufacturing and technical assistance of medical devices including this sector’s requirements and regulations, guaranteeing compliance with the highest reliability standards.

Few companies in Brazil have got this certification, especially in Instramed’s segment.

The ISO certification is a long and hard process; it demands great effort from all people in the company. The process involves many internal audits performed by a team of skilled professionals, besides external audits by an independent certifier organ hat requests a number of adjustments that guarantee that all development, production and service processes happen according to the quality requirements demanded by the norms.

That makes Instramed feel proud for reaching one more goal and we believe great benefits shall arise from that to our customers and partners.
